Who we are

First Tech Sales Job Ltd is the data controller for any personal data collected through this website and our coaching programme. The company is registered in England and Wales, company number 17377178. Our registered office is at 25 Drywoods, South Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford, England, CM3 5ZG. For privacy questions, email privacy@firsttechsalesjob.com.

What data we collect

We collect only the personal data we need to respond to enquiries, provide coaching, process payments, and meet our legal obligations. This may include:

  • Your name and email address when you contact us or book a call.
  • Your name, email address, optional phone number, and your answers to two short questions about your current job and why you want to change career, submitted through the short form that appears when you start the enrolment process. We keep these details even if you do not go on to complete payment.
  • Whether you ticked the optional box asking to receive career tips and updates from First Tech Sales Job.
  • Phone number and billing details if you enrol or pay for the programme.
  • Information you share during strategy calls, intake forms, or coaching sessions, including your career background and goals.
  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and approximate location, collected through our hosting and analytics services.

Why we collect it

We use your data to communicate with you, deliver the coaching programme, process payments, and keep appropriate records. The legal bases we rely on are:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide coaching after you enrol.
  • Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, improve our services, and keep our systems secure.
  • Legal obligation — for tax, accounting, and company-law record keeping.
  • Consent — to send occasional email updates, but only if you ticked the marketing box. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Details submitted through the enrolment form are used to follow up personally with prospective students, for example by email or WhatsApp, and to prepare for coaching sessions. If you did not tick the marketing box, we will not add you to any newsletter or nurture sequence.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run the business:

  • Calendly — used to schedule strategy calls. Your name, email, and any details you enter are processed by Calendly under their own privacy policy.
  • Stripe — used to process programme payments. Stripe receives billing details needed to complete the transaction securely.
  • Email provider — used to send programme materials, confirmations, and follow-up messages.
  • Hosting, database and analytics providers — used to serve this website, securely store enrolment form submissions, and understand how visitors use the page.

Each provider acts as a data processor and is only allowed to use your data for the specific service they provide to us. We never sell or share your data with third parties beyond these tools.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected:

  • Enquiry and email records: up to 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Enrolment form submissions where no payment was completed: up to 24 months, so we can follow up, then deleted.
  • Client coaching records and payment records: up to 7 years after the end of the financial year in which the transaction took place, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
  • Calendly booking data and Stripe payment records may be retained in those platforms according to their own retention policies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. You can also object to processing or ask for your data to be moved to another service. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@firsttechsalesjob.com.

You can ask for your data to be deleted, or to be removed from any mailing list, at any time, and we will action it without needing a reason. Every marketing email also includes an unsubscribe option.

Cookies and analytics

This site may use essential cookies to make it work, and basic analytics to help us understand how visitors find and use the page. We do not use invasive advertising trackers. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law changes. Any significant changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
